so wiggy , can you make somth like a tread or somth with pictures and step by step how to host dedicated server? Becouse i had razor version , then dl the steam version of the game , and still cant host it , it tryes to open AvP_CL.exe but it gives no respond....

i do exactly what they say and still cant get it to work , imake this file with this extension .cfg , i copy paste those comannds (with and witought \\comments and still cant run the steam>tools>deticated beta it trys to open this file and it gives no responding ...

AvP_CLI.exe open thats one and not in steam

i think i told this 10 times so far ... this .exe give no respond when i start it , no matter from steam , or direct .exe

my dedicated files i made real quick
extract it in the gamefolder
edit "default.cfg
and run the exe or run as admin because of win7

look how it surpose to run

still not working , i replaced all files , but no result ..

did you run it as admin or as winxpsp3

any command to get xp on player matches? (dedicated)

well i did everything right and patched to 1.2.17 but when i go on multiplayer, there are no servers? anyone no why?

match points are set to 20 this make some very fast games, sometimes people just have time to log in the game, 1 kill and the match finish !!
so we spend more time to set match than in playing the game ^^

Hey guys im new to this whole thing so please dont give me major amounts of "shut up noob" Is there anyway to host a lan game without having an internet connection i can host online with all the cracks and patchs no problem but in South Africa internet is a bit deprived and at most lan parties we dont have internet :/ so it would be really fun if we cud play without needing an internet connection

Please help if possible

1 force your cracked steam to go in offlinemode
2 start a dedicated server
3 look for dedicated lan games in-game

today i cant play multyplayer? when i connect , it cant create a group , is this the server problem?

its not the crack its steam and servers its happens deal with it

Hey Madwiggy please can you pm me some kind of how to on how to get this working because i tried what you said but when i try host a server the terminal just says starting server and doesnt go any further and if i try find the game in avp it doesnt allow me further than the main menu because it says cannot establish a connection to steam and i am running SteamUp.v2.1.4 :/ please help going to a lan tonight and kinda hoping to get this working for us

The problem is i can create a lan server if i have an internet connection im trying to make a lan server without having an internet connection :/ can it be done?

I also have a slight problem. My brother and me installed all the patches and stuff like described two days ago and everything was fine then. Now I can't even properly start my game. If I clink I get the loading screen for a second and then it shuts itself. I asked my brother if he had the same problem but no he hasn't.

So do any of you have some ideas? Cause I'm out.

so can someone play multy at all? or its just me? cuz it cant make a group still and cant join the steam server ...

I downloaded the dedicated server beta from the cracked steam and then make a default.cfg to host

but it only show in lan and can't join it

Everytime it said u were removed from the game
